Phil Ivey has been referred to as the greatest poker player on the globe by most of the top pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching turning one. His papa showed him to penny-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, he was hooked on poker and wanted to discover anything he possibly could about the game. At the closing table he destroyed many of the well known pros including "Amarillo Slim" Preston, David "Devilfish" Ulliot, and Phil Hellmuth, Jr.
Phil made a decision to take his game to the successive level and headed out west to Vegas. Phil continues to compete in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Phil credits his success to discipline and an immeasurable love for poker. Phil states that he is learning every single day and is quite abashed about his achievements. He admits to making errors in each game of poker and constantly aspires to get better.
Despite the fact that Phil has won some big tournaments, he prefers winning money games on a regular basis.
