Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers receive 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to either make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum equal to the original bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out cash even with your wager and controlled odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
