Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original bet, which means that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The house pony’s up money even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
